Rudolf Ogertschnig

Rudolf Ogertschnig is one of PANTARHEI'S leading lights when it comes to the conceptual development and set-up of communication and strategy processes. He advises and supports companies and organisations on the implementation of change projects, employing a blend of empathy, a solutions-driven attitude and analytical expertise. His primary focus is on content realignment, communication-related coverage of transformations and the reorganisation of communication structures.

With almost 20 years’ experience at the intersection between industry, politics and society, Rudolf is a specialist in consultative approaches in cross-industry environments. During his career he has worked with ASFINAG, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Österreichische Post, various members of the building materials, ceramics and gas heating industries, as well as Wien Energie, Verbund, Montanwerke Brixlegg and Austrian Federal Railways.

Rudolf’s work is closely centred on industries which are undergoing extremely rapid change, such as energy, infrastructure and mobility. In these areas he has supported and coordinated scientific studies and scenario analysis in which PANTARHEI was involved.  

Rudolf Ogertschnig started out as a trainee at the Federation of Austrian Industries, which included various assignments in Vienna and Brussels. He continued his career as a senior consultant at one of Austria’s largest public affairs and PR agencies, Pleon Publico, before co-founding peritia communications in 2011. He was a founder member of PANTARHEI ADVISORS when it was set up in 2013, going on to become a Managing Partner in 2015.

Rudolf Ogertschnig studied politics and communications science in Vienna and Berlin before completing a postgraduate degree in smart mobility at the University of St. Gallen. He lives and works in Vienna.
