Anna Careen Schmid

Anna Careen Schmid studied law at the University of Vienna and has been part of the PANTARHEI team since 2021. Within PANTARHEI, she works in public affairs and crisis management, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. She has continuously expanded her expertise in this area through numerous training courses.

Anna Careen Schmid has been involved in the non-profit sector for over a decade and has taken on numerous leadership roles during this time, for which she has been honoured several times. She founded a platform for 4,000 young people worldwide and realised various educational projects and a major education conference in collaboration with UNICEF. She even represented her projects at the UN General Assembly.

In addition to her work at PANTARHEI, she has been successfully running her own event agency in Vienna together with 2 partners since 2021. As part of the diploma course "Politics and Diplomacy" of the Austrian Forum for Foreign Policy, she analysed the impact of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative on the EU.
