Alexander Bäck has a proven record as a management specialist and expert trainer with international experience. He heads Pantarhei’s Graz office.
For more than 25 years, Alexander has been advising high-ranking clients from business, politics and the non-profit sector. His consulting work focuses on strategy and communication, crisis and change communications as well as public affairs. During his career, he has advised numerous clients including Allianz Capital Partners, öGIG, voestalpine, Steiermärkische Sparkasse, A1 Telekom Austria, Saubermacher, the Styrian provincial government, SFG, LAYJET, Ökoregion Kaindorf, UNIQA, AON, Binder & Grossek, Thermenland Steiermark, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Wirtschaftsbund, Ö-Ring GmbH, the University of Graz, the provincial government of Carinthia, the Austrian Workers’ Compensation Board (AUVA), the Austrian Social Insurance Authority for Business (SVA), ACstyria and Science Park Graz. He has also been involved in structural reform and merger support programmes for Styrian local authorities, as well as local authority regional development projects.
Alexander Bäck has a law degree from the University of Graz and is a qualified adult education trainer. He started his career as ministerial secretary to Federal Minister Dr. Martin Bartenstein. Afterwards, he was a project manager at the Malik Management Center in St. Gallen and sat on the board of Superfund. Before becoming an independent entrepreneur as a partner at Pantarhei Advisors Graz (formerly Publico Styria) at the end of 2008, he served as Director of the Austrian Business Federation for three years.
Alexander Bäck is married with two children, and lives and works in Graz.
